Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of nekotalk ("Service"). The Service is experimental and may change without notice.

1. Scope

By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility & Account

• The Service is not available to users under 13 years old.
• If you are a minor, please obtain consent from your legal guardian.
• You must keep your registration information accurate and up to date.

3. User Content

• Rights to content you submit or upload (chat messages, avatar settings, VRM files, etc.) remain with you.
• You grant the operator a non-exclusive license to store, reproduce, transform, and transmit such content as necessary to provide, improve, and secure the Service.
• You must not upload content that infringes third-party rights.

4. Prohibited Conduct

• Violations of law or public order
• Infringement of others' rights (copyright, trademark, privacy, etc.)
• Unauthorized access or actions that disrupt the Service
• Abuse of Service vulnerabilities
• Impersonation or misleading representations
• Any other conduct deemed inappropriate by the operator

5. Credits & Payments

• Paid features are accessed via credits. Prices and required credits are shown in the UI.
• Credit purchases are processed through Stripe.
• Credits are non-refundable except where required by law and have no cash value.

6. Community & Social Features

• The Service includes social features such as following avatars, public pages, and reporting.
• Reported content may be reviewed and restricted at the operator's discretion.

7. Account Suspension

The operator may suspend or disable accounts without prior notice if a user violates these Terms or if necessary for safe operation.

8. Service Changes

The operator may change, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Service without prior notice.

9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights related to the Service belong to the operator or rightful owners.

10. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses AI models (such as OpenAI and Anthropic) to generate responses. AI outputs are not guaranteed to be accurate or complete. Your inputs and character settings may be sent to these AI providers for processing.

11. Disclaimer

AI outputs (utterances, evaluations, summaries, etc.) are provided "as is". You use the Service at your own risk, and the operator is not liable for any damages arising from use of the Service.

12. Ads & Affiliate Links

The Service may include advertisements or affiliate links with PR labels. Display and click events may be logged for measurement purposes.

13. Changes to Terms

The operator may update these Terms without notice. Significant changes will be announced appropriately.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. The Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance.
